It's pretty frightening to see the video coming out of California and know that Kristina is out there. I also find myself thinking of the other friends and acquantances who might find themselves in actual danger from flooding and landslides. Some of the same roads in the Laguna Hills area we drove during our Christmas holiday seem to be closed or destroyed by the rain and mud.

Donna and I have our fingers crossed that our friends are able to stay safe until the rains cease. Our thoughts and best wishes also go out to anybody reading these words who find themselves in a similar situation.
